Warning regarding the scam website of J-STAGE’s journals
Recently, we were informed by researchers and the official publishers of J-STAGE about the existence of a scam journal website which is considered fraudulent.
The motive of scam websites is to deceive researchers to submit their manuscripts to the sites for charging the submission fees or APCs (Article Publication Charges).
It seems that some researchers have submitted manuscripts to this malicious site. To avoid being deceived by the scam websites, when considering the submission of your work to a site, please be sure to check if there are any irregularities at the website or in the submission guideline of the publisher. For those who found a scam site, please swiftly report to the legitimate publishing organization.
Meanwhile, if the J-STAGE’s publishing organization has identified a fake website of your journal, please place a warning on the J-STAGE journal website or homepage to prevent the users from being deceived. In addition, please do reach out to the J-STAGE Center.
